Yepper,I can definitely agree with that. I went for a little ride yesterday up ( & I do mean UP) the Spiral Highway just out of Lewiston. It doesn't lose a thing to the Tail Of The Dragon except : it's a LOT hotter and there aren't any guardrails, just a few posts with cable strung between them. It's about 8 miles of 2nd & 3rd gear curves/corners but there's a beautiful view when you get to the top.
Went on North to Pullman then East to Moscow (pronounced mos coe) then South on US95 back to Lewiston. It was much cooler on the high plain @ 87,, then as I got closer to the river valley, it soared back up to 101 in Lewiston/Clarkston.

And to think I came out to "the great Northwest" so it would be cooler than Jacksonville,Florida (which by the way , has been much cooler than Oregon or Washington/Idaho).
