Today, I rode all afternoon in the Texas heat. A cool 93 -- in spots. Total trek was about 160 miles. I know, not much for a Vision.

Several water stops, a snowcone and then, a nice watering hole under the trees with about a dozen HD's in the parking lot. I realized I was thirsty again, back tracked and stopped for a cold one.

While sitting in the shade watching the HD riders, all in leather and black tee shits, I know I looked out of place in shorts. I know, I committed a sin. My penalty is sunburned legs and brand from my exhaust pipe.

What did I notice? When you park a Vision in a crowd or HD's it really stands out. I don't mean the lines, I mean the size! I have become accustomed to my VV such that I don't really notice the size. But, this is one BIG bike.

I'm always impressed with my Vision in the H-D crowd. I have never found a H-D that fit.

You don't need a CDL to ride a Vision ,but you DO need some BALLS. JMHO.

It's the biggest small bike I know of. I'm more than impressed when rolling on the throttle it's as agile as a sports bike.

after Sturgis this year, I thought about renaming mine "Tatonka". I didn't know if the buffalo on the wildlife loop would feel territorially threatened by the Vision and charge us or attempt to mate it. Regardless, we have dubbed it "The Buffalo"

I love my Vision and she is a big bike. I pulled up next to a Smart-Car and was surprised that I'm longer than it. Guess I shouldn't have been, Fan Song has a good poster showing the size difference. I just forgot about it until stopping next to that tiny car.

I know what you mean about the Smart Car thing. I have pulled up several times to one and think "they let these things on the highway?". And my friends say it is dangerous for motorcycles to be on the highway. Obviously they haven't compared my bike to a Smart Car.

I park my Vision next to a Street Glide at work occasionally. It's tiny and I don't even have my trunk on. My bosses bosses boss (give or take a boss or two...5 rungs up the ladder from me) has an Electra Glide Ultra. Parking next to him is funny, too. (Well, I think so, anyway.)

I have an '02 HD RoadGlide and Vision in the garage. When I bought the Glide I couldn't believe how big it was, then I bought the Vision(WOW)!! I had to rearrange the garage to get an extra foot so I could close the door with my two wheeled car in there.

+1

I have a friend with a Smart Car. I love to park next to him.

I love my Vision.

Same observations here from my wife and I. We've affectioned changed the HD moniker to "mini bikes" (for those of us who grew up in the 60s, the mini bikes were the rage...my buddy had an Indian...and yes, it had tassles that came with the bike.)

Whats amazing is how nimble the VV is. Its been stated before and backed up by the cops that did the RLAP class I took...The HD does an 18' circle while the VV does it in a foot less!
