i was thinking of doing a cam change with loyds intake and fuel controller, I get very good economy on my 08 vision, will this change in cam, intake and fuel controller give me better economy or worse, ?

Claim 3-5 better. I have 1100 miles in a couple of days on mine but mostly at 80+ MPH. I also am enjoying my extra HP with my wrist. I will say it did not hurt it. 80 in a big wind I was still getting low 40's.

I have done a BUNCH of these upgrades, and EVERY one reports 2-4 MPG increase

Great results from these upgrades...smoother acceleration, better responsive throttle, just overall improvement. Input from kevinx as well as LLoyd himself is also a big plus!! IMO no better use of funds on your Vision....

Does it reduce or eliminate the backfiring? How do the '09 Respond to the cams and intake plate upgrade? I'm currently running S1 L1 does that matter?

Some but not all. I also have no Baffles and that End Cap the Dealer in Ct sells, that could cause some. Almost gone on excel have some on decel that could be caused by the pipes.

Definately a HUGE performance improvement, but it will not resolve the popping. My Vision pops much worse post-cams than it did pre-cams.
