It's an article from Sept 2015 that I somehow missed. I like this Hybrid Cross/Vision... Hey, if Victory does it, maybe the'll call it the Crossed Eyes model.

I think someone said the kit to do this was like $5500- $8000 not including labor and paint

vision with a trunk has 29 gallons of storage, this modification due to a lack of trunk leaves you with 21.3 gallons of storage. I know you can put more stuff in the saddlebags and bigger stuff in the saddlebags but the overall ability to carry more is less than original..

This is why I put a hitch doc trailer hitch on my bike and I have a trailer hitch rack that I can carry an unbelievable amount of stuff without obstructing my brake and turn signals. I no longer worry about storage issues .. also on a side note , does brake lights with that modification is nowhere near as bright as the Visions especially if you have a vision with the LED modification. I know this because I rode down to Georgia with three cross countries and at night I was surprised at how small the brake light area is on those bikes there adequate they meet the Department of Transportation specifications but they don't exceed anything

That's the bike that Max Ness built a year or so ago. HMD520 has a kit that can be used on the visions. Complete bolt on kit that ranges from $3800-$4500.

No good for me. ONE wheelie and the whole back end would be ruined.

What about the trunk? Those of us that really use the bike for touring would benefit from the saddle bags but without the trunk it's no good.

for a fist full of money you can build one of these. Just buy CC rear section frame bags a custom rear fender and side covers and exhaust

That bike looks great, but I think it would look even better with a CC trunk on it.
