I like the height of my stock windshield. (it measures 18" top to bottom center) I think I heard that there were like 3 different stock windshield heights. Is this true?
Also I read that the Cee Bailey shield is 5" wider than the stock Vic shield. Is this true? Any help with these quuestions is appreciated.

Yes, Victory offers 3 different heights of windshields. I'm not sure of the dimensions of CeeBaileys.

Mike not sure about the varied height but I had my stock ws replaced with the victory 2" taller and my wife gets much better protection. I am seriously considering the Cee Bailey shield at 2" over stock due to the added width. I think the extra 5" width will make for a calmer pocket with the shield up full.
I will just add that the 2" taller shield upper lip is just at my normal line of vision over the shield. Any taller and it would become an issue. I'm 6' tall with a 34" inseam so it should give you some idea for comparison.

I got the 20" Cee Baileys on my bike and love it. As to being wider when I checked it against the original it is only about a 1/2" wider.
I am about 5' 10" and just look over the taller shield when it is lowered. When the W unit rides on the back it is all the way up and she says there is not much wind or buffeting. Hope this helps

I don't know why the 22" is so much wider than the 20", but mine (22" was a full 5 inches wider than my stock tall windshield. Maybe the stock Vision windshield is wider than the Vision tall windshield (although I doubt it). Probably a good idea to call Cee Baileys before you buy to be sure, but mine is definately 5" wider, and I love it. I will try to take some pics tomorrow and post them so you can see the difference in mine.

Also, my 22" Cee Baileys is 2.75" taller than my stock tall Vision.

FYI when I spoke with Cee Bailey he said the windshield is not designed nor is it any wider than the stock Visn . He is unsure why people are posting that but his supposition is that the curve is different and perhaps that is what people are seeing and think its wider.
Buy a Cee Bailey for clarity and for additional height, no other reason. Personally, I dont have any of the occlusions in my windshield that others on here seem to have. My shield is perfectly clear and distortion free. Perhaps people just got an initial bad batch or something, which to me is a warranty issue

Even if the curve were different (which it doesn't seem to be on mine), it wouldn't explain 5 additional inches. In any case, I will take some photos tomorrow and try to have them posted by tomorrow evening or Monday morning. Then you can see for yourselves and take it from there.

Wizard, sounds like a plan. Just odd that the manufacturer would say that there is no difference in his product. But stranger things have happened. Width can be a good thing sometimes....... just not on a passenger......

I took some pics today and posted them in a new thread titled "Cee Baileys Windshield Dimensions Set Straight". I hope it helps explain things.

I spoke with the production manager at Cee Baileys and gave him some info to put on their site to help when ordering. My stock shield measured 17 5/8 " top to bottom. So their 18" is approx 3/8" taller than stock but can be used to help gauge which one you want to buy. They are going to note the stock size on their ordering form.

Also , they had problems with their site over the weekend , so if anyone had problems taking advantage of the promotion , call or email Wilbur. They honored it for me yesterday.
