Contract mechanic, O/A Web Mobile Mechanic. Mainly Heavy Duty, but to stupid to say no, so wind up working on most anything & everything. Ticketed in Automotive, Heavy Duty & Millwright, with lots of hard knock schooling in welding & machining. The last few years have swung into air conditioning repairs for heavy equipment AC, summers usually run 14 - 20 Hr. days. Now that puts a kink in biking milage, was still able to put 14,000 km on the Vision & 6,000 km on the rest of the fleet.

Well I guess it is my time to chime in. I am the Nationwide manager for Huggins Tire Sales out of High Point, NC. We sell Good Year racing tires for NASCAR, NHRA and IHRA. I have been mounting tires off and on since 1972. Quit in 1979 and worked as a bartender, radio installer and warehouse worker until 1986. Then back to the races. And have been doing that for the last 22 years. We only work in the southeast, but will go outside of that if you are willing to pay extra. I have been riding Victorys since 2001 when my father retired. I ride to work every chance I get. The Vision turned 25,893 miles this week and I'm leaving for Homestead, FL on Sunday. I guess this thread and others like it are why I keep coming back. Glad it was started. ET

I'm a retired Auto Worker, retired in 2007, buddies used to call me Dog hence the "handle". I don't have a Vision yet but will be in the market this spring when I can sell my current ride outright.

I own a Pawnshop in Ontario, California. Five years ago someone pawned a Harley Heritage Softail and never came back for it. I started riding it around the parking lot one day and was hooked. A couple of years ago I rode out to Laughlin and while there, I saw a very long line of Harley riders waiting to see something. It was the Vision. I had to have one, it was love at first sight, I counted the days for a year for it to come out. I ride mine everyday.

I work in a large 165 year old funeral home and I'm dead serious ! I like my Vision soo much I bought two of them ! I have a 2008 SSG Tour Premium and a 2008 black Street Premium - that way you don't have to fool around taking the trunk on and off , just an idea.

Future Vision rider here, need to finish putting the kids thru college first. I work in the Customer Support division of a large aircraft manufacturer. Unless you're building the next major airline in the US, I may not be able to help professionally. However all riders, especially Vision Pilots are welcome in my garage.
