Looking at a new leftover 08 Tour Premium Midnight Cherry. Not a demo bike.

Just checking to see what the consensus is here. Thanks,

I paid 20,400 for a 09 Midnight cherry street premium which comes with the billet wheels better speakers and HID headlight, the trunk is about 1K more though, so the price does not sound bad, remember in this economy they have to work to sell to you!
Good luck on whatever you do

$19,900.00 is not a deal for the 08 Premium. The 09 Premium has more extras and can be equipt with reverse. The 08 can not . Take a long look at what the 09 Premium offers. If you want to save money you should make a counter offer on the 08

Hubby paid $18,500 for his '08 Tour Premium (black cherry) back in August. I would think you could do a little better than the 19,900.

If you are really interested and have the means to do it, i would walk in offer them 17,500 and say thats what i have take it or leave it. And be prepared to walk out. If you end up walking out, ill bet they call you within a day to say they thought it over and come on back. One thing to consider though. Is this the only dealer around you?? so if you decide to buy an 08 or 09, is this where you HAVE to go? your money is a little less powerful if they are the only game in town.

I paid $18900 for my 08 Comfort in August, thought it was a good deal, especially since I was not charged for dealer set-up.To my surprise, I also found out that my Comfort was equipped with the lighted side badges and a HID headlight by mistake. My bike probably started out on the assembly line as a Tour model and then someone goofed. Has anyone else encountered this fortune?

Wow. I thought it was a pretty good deal, so I purchased it.

I was priced $23,100 plus tax for a 09 tour premium at another dealership, and over $21,000 plus tax for a black 08 tour premium.

Also two weeks ago I looked at a used 08 black tour premium on ebay with 4000 miles that looked immaculate with bunch of chrome add-ons, Victory cover, and panel to take trunk off that sold for $18,900,,,,,, should have purchased that one, although I like the Midnight Cherry color slightly better than black, but this bike was gorgeous!!!

Thanks for the reply's. I told my wife I would post on here to see if it was a good price or not. Better not let her see it.

I already have plans for it,,,,, Louder exhaust for one, crome, and thinking of taking the panel out where the front speakers are to paint match it to the bike. Also thinking of taking the wheels off and paint match them to the bike.

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW "WIFE" WE ARE SURE YOU AND SHE WILL BE VERY HAPPY HA HA HA SERIOUSLY YOU GOT A GREAT BIKE AND HONESTLY, IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT. THIS IS ABOUT HAPPINESS ENJOYMENT AND FULFILLMENT. THOSE ARE THINGS THAT A REALISTIC PERSON DOESNT PUT A DOLLAR SIGN ON. (THATS WHATS WRONG WITH THE COUNTRY, EVERYTHING
IS MONEY BASED). With regard to painting the wheels, before you spend that kind of money, step back and take a look at the bikes profile, you will see that you see less then 50% of the front and rear wheel, Louder exhaust does a redneck make. Your bike is an artistic statement. Anyone can ride down the road with "compensation noise" do the world a favor and dont add more unnecessary noise to it. chrome the heck out of it, it will look awesome and look slicker then a minnows pecker.... just dont downgrade it
to HD looks/sound,,,, dude thats just wrong on this bike...... and thats my personal opinion which im sure a few will disagree with, but instead of slamming me, write your own opinion.

Definately not going to "slam" you.

The wheels are a "maybe" project, but chrome is definately going to happen. I need to look into exhaust options. I really like the look of the "six shooter" tips as I call them. I need to listen to other bikes.

I have a good friend who does all my paint work, while I do all the rest.
