Hartland, , WI | We have 895 handles listed on this site and 259 have put a location in their profile...even StarChief put down "Wisconsin" for his location....which means 636 listed users have a handle and no location.
I see that I have 5 handles from WI but probably have many more right in my back yard and don't even know it...we have a number of dealers in the state...I could be someones new best friend and I don't even know it!
I'd love to someday do a regional ride but "three screaming mimmi's" on Visions ain't exactly a flock, or a heard, or a swarm, or...OK we get it.
They say that one-out-of-three people are dud's...do the math, if isn't the person on your right or the person on your left...IT MUST BE YOU!  |

New Bohemia, VA | Hear, hear him! I would hope one day we can get this information consolidated for when we travel. It is a great idea to know who and where folk are so if we are about the country, we can help one another. The GWRRA has the Goldbook for those who choose to participate and to what level for help for fellow wingers and bikers. They are listed in the book with phone numbers to contact in case of breakdown and need a trailer, and even a place to stay for the night. Some will list whether they have tools or not to facilitate minor repairs to keep the rider going on. It seems to work very well and hoped as Visionaires we can begin that idea which I suggested as an association. But many disagreed and may still disagree, but your idea Vinner is a refire to that idea. I think we'll eventually go that way, and sooner rather than later as I believe a lot of Visionaires will be a long distance rider at one time or another. What a good comfort to have the list of dealers along the way as well as a list of Visionaires who are willing to help one another on those long journeys. I always seem to be the third man.... |

, FL United States | Unfortunately I've found that Visioneers seem to want their anonymity versus "joining" the group. When I was on my cross-country trip earlier this year, I found only a couple of guys that were willing to meet & ride - DesertJim, Doc Boyd & his lovely wife Cathy. I did meet other Vic riders - ShankyBoy in Phoenix, FishWitch,Earthshaker,Diamondrmp & others in the Sacramento area- who showed me some really good roads & made my time there very enjoyable.
I do think a registry of Visioneers that would be willing to help in the event of a breakdown would be nice but I doubt it will happen. I hope I'm wrong. |

Fargo, ND | I agree on the 'VVR' (Vision Volunteer Registry) and feel it would be a great idea. If the project were started it would probably grow, what with Victory picking up the tab for the formational meetings in Hawaii  |

Hartland, , WI | With only 2444 Visions made the first year I was happily surprised that there were 895 listed handles already on this site. It is interesting to me to see how they spread over the country and who are the people coming across great roads to ride and even better yet, nice people to ride with or help you in a pinch. I respect people's privacy as I rarely even ride with another biker (less than 5%) so if they don't want to chance that a location might lead to a loss of some of that privacy I'm totally cool with that. Vision riders right now are as small a group as were are ever going to be with such a new product on our hands, it be great to share ideas, and travel exeriences so I am really digging someone starting this site.

So Cal | Im always ready for a ride. However, getting my wife up and out at a specific time is problem. Dare I say, more fun with her than without her? Most of our rides are at the spur of the moment. |

Yeah, right LOL But a VVR would be nice for those of us who want to meet/ride with other Visioneers. Not to mention having a contact in the area that you actually break down in. |

Northeast Ohio | If we could somehow protect some of this information, I would divulge more info. There are just too many idiots out there that would steal our bikes in a heartbeat and my town is relatively small (it wouldn't be too hard to find me). |
