Has anyone gotten their headlight replaced? Mine is bad and my dealer has had it three weeks and is stroking me around about replacing it.

Some folks have had the headlamp crack issue. And many of them have had thier headlamps replaced under warranty. However there has been a few folks who have had a slight problem with thier dealers replacing the headlamp under warranty.

Here is a post that has quite a bit of information on this issue. Maybe consider printing it and slapping your dealer across the backside of his head with it??? http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1745&posts=22&mid=17394&highlight=headlamp&highlightmode=1&action=search#M17394

Had mine replaced...had cracks in it the second day I owned it...Victory did it in warranty. It took 4 days.

The dealer that did the work was not the one that I bought the bike from...they sucked...so I found a new dealer for my warrant/service work and so far so good. What scared me was that Dealer 1 said they had never seen a cracked headlight assembly, they needed to take a picture of it and let Polaris make the call...but they were concerned that Polaris would not replace it because they thought I did it. I through the BS flag on that one and went to Dealer 2. They actually had sold a few Visions and had seen many coming back with this stress cracks issue. Dealer 1 is still clueless...wish I would have bought the bike from Dealer 2 and given him my business.
