SHAME ON YOU
We can't help if you don't tell us what year and model.
If you have a 08 vision they have a special down load for that year.

Started the SPCSHP today and IMMEDIATELY noticed a 'mis-fire'. Bike was running perfectly last weekend. Took it out to see if something 'just didn't need clearing' - and got bad backfires and missing power-strokes. Full throttle was INSTANT GO, but letting off was Zillion Bangs. Took it to my dealer where the Manager changed my plugs but popping still bad. I was on 1/3 tank of fuel - so I topped up with CHEVRON 94 and went for another spin. Under FULL THROTTLE - the bike was it's usual KevinXinated zip - until I released the throttle. I can't drive it like this. Any thoughts ???

The curious thing to me is that it was running perfectly, as it has for 8 years. Start it up yesterday - and WHAM. ALL I can think of is some part, somewhere, broke when the bike was sitting, cooling down - question is - WHAT part ??? Dealer had NO ideas ... although he mentioned some kind of possible gasket problem on the front cylinder - build up of crud around the spark plug hole.

Appreciate any thoughts - bike seems to act like others in THIS post ....

Don, take a really close look at the throttle body adapter. See if the rubberized outer covering is coming loose from the aluminum body. You will have to get a tool or finger in there and see if the rubber covering is loose. It may be, and this causes a part throttle air leak. If it is, you can work some black RTV sealant in between the rubber covering and the aluminum body and seal it back up for awhile, but a new throttle body adapter is the proper repair. Part number 1203866.

I have the S1L-2 set-up without a reflash and it runs and sounds just fine. A reflash is not needed

start with the simple thing first. Charge your battery they have a load test done on it.
Vic's don't run good with poor electrical power

SPCSHP has been with the dealer for 10 days - told me today the new 'throttle body adapter' and 'asm-tubes' were replaced and  it was done. I hopped on, fired it up (after paying $480) and headed home. Which lasted until my first shift - was better than before - but still not what it should be. Turned around, and got the Service Manager to take it out - he came back and agreed with me. So, bike stayed, wife drove home with me. Naturally, all this is during beautiful sunny early Fall days ...

<more to come - good news I hope - but he was talking about removing the LLoydz breathing part >

Banjo - 2015-10-21 9:59 PM as anyone not have the map installed?

I put on S1L1 and did and flash.   I ride it all the time and the bike runs great.

Victorys flash will add 2% more fuel and 2% more timing all for around $160 bucks not worth it.

If you want a tuner call Rylan at the Vic Shop and buy a VFC111 and ask him to put a mape in it.

You'll be farther head then what and lame ass Vic can offer
