I just picked up my bike on Wednesday and the dealer installed the GPS for me. My problem is that I receive no audio through the radio. Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
My dealer is about 50 miles and 1& 1/2 hour Ferry ride away.
Thanks

Turn on your 2720, and when the main screen comes up with the menu, select VOLUME in the lower part of the screen. Then make sure the volume is not set at or near the zero percent level. I have found with mine that the volume level is similar to the music volume when I set my 2720 volume to 60%. When I use the 2720 in my car, with the car power adapter that has the speaker as part of it, I need to raise that volume to 90% to hear it easily.

Thanks for the help Space. Been there, tried that and still no audio! Emailed the dealer and they want to look at it next time I am in the area. They mentioned that the GPS may not be calibrated properly (I think it is the hook up cord). I get power but no audio, only other thing I can think of that is suspect is the radio.

I thought my suggestion was a bit to elementary, and that you had probably already been down that path, but sometimes I ignore the most obvious cause to a problem until I'm armpit deep in it! If everything else on your stereo is ok, your problem is most likely in the cable that connect the gps to your stereo. Have the dealer check it out.

As an alternative, do you happen to have the cable for your gps that allows you to use it in your car? It connects from the gps to the car's cigarette lighter, and has a speaker inline. If you don't already have one, look on Ebay for it and a car beanbag mount, then you can also use the gps in your car. This will also permit you to check out the gps and ensure that there is in fact audio coming out of the unit. You can then have the peace of mind that the gps is ok, and narrow down the troubleshooting steps to the cabling on the Vision.
