I rode to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Qwik Liner 350 today, fun stuff! (http://www.lvms.com/) I had my Pegasus parked inthe A-Number One motorcycle parking spot and fielded many queries and much compliments! As I was exiting, another Vision Tour Super Steel grey was leaving too. Just a nod, and him and his SigOther was on their way. I tried to get them to stop for at least a name, or maybe a sentence or two. Oh well, when the race is over folks just wanna get home i suppose, 'cept for me...
I exited, and the exit direction of the local authorities sent us up to Las Vegas Blvd near Nellis Air Force Base, so I rode it allllllllll the way down to Tropicana, about 20 miles. I did get (finally) a hot leg or two for a bit. I wear Carsill style jeans, so I just adjusted my leg placement and all was well. Thousands of folks cruising the strip, lotsa lookie looos, compliments and HD riders ignoring me when I'd give them the ride sign. Fun nevertheless!
