Stopped by the dealer today and they had a new 09 Vision in Ice Blue, really really NICE color. The ONLY difference that I saw with regards to the 09 from the 08 was chrome lower fork legs, a drilled and tapped hole in the two master cylinders for mounting stuff and polished billet alum wheels. This one did NOT have the reverse so I can't comment on that.

Most of the defects we have experienced are still present to include the seat rub on the saddlebag, alignment issues, gaps on panels, etc and a new one... dimple in the storage compartment door I have never noticed on 08's. The gap between the drive cover and lower saddlebag cover and alum cowl are REALLY noticeable with the blue color. All this said I think the color will sell well and the gaps won't distract from it.

I'm not all that keen on the chrome fork lowers. While the chrome looks real sharp on the fork legs, they appear to have chromed over the pot metal which has the surface appearance that is present on the rear roll overs (pitted look). Some folks will probably like this look but I'd just as soon they were smooth for cleaning purposes. So they look sharp, but I think they'll make cleaning a little more of a chore.
Really smart move pre-drilling the master cylinders to accept ram balls and the billet wheels add a real nice clean look that compliments the blue paint.

Things I'd like to see Victory add for 2010: Rubber floorboard/cowl inserts we can buy should be standard. Chrome rear rollovers should be standard on premium models. A windshield that is 1" taller than the current stock windshield. A little more pad mid seat on the drivers pad. Keyless ignition and barrel locks for the other compartments. one inch removed from the inside of each inner fairing cowl to reduce heat.

I am glad I like my Super Steel Gray a lot, because I really liked the Kawasaki Glacier Blue,
and I think the Vision Ice Blue you speak of is close to it. A two tone Vision of the Steel Gray
and Ice blue might be intersting.

I had the same thought about the chromed "pot metal" look on the forks. I really do like the chrome wheels. I might consider getting them for my '08. I was told about $1000 for front and rear. No way will I ever spend the money for a Ness wheel, so this is an option for bling. I didn't look at fit and finish that close, but the '08 that I took for a demo ride a few months ago did have the dimples on the storage compartment door, so I don't think that is new.

Just FYI, you can send your stock wheels out to any number of chromers for half that and have chrome instead of polished. Might make a good winter project...

As I continue to drive this thread further off topic...

How does that chrome powdercoat look? Can you see any kind of reflection in it or is just a really bright silver? If someone has finally come out with a near chrome powder coat, that would be the way to go.

Several companies do the chome powder coating and it is REALLY cool. A friend had a number of parts done in Gold, but they also have red, orange, blue, green, etc... and of course silver chrome. Looks and shines just like chrome. I might have it done on the grab handles and/or radio face panel. I'm not telling what color, lol.....
