Others have mentioned experiencing broken tabs used to mount the Vision body parts. Although it was covered by insurance following an accident I had the most expensive part of the repair resulted from replacing parts only because a couple of these tabs had broken off. Reportedly a very simple repair process for just such situations comes from using cyanoacrylate (super glue) and baking soda.

Clean the pieces and then set the broken tab back in place, a small amount of super glue can be used to hold it while the final repair is completed. Pour baking soda in around the base of the broken tab then drip super glue over it. If the piece can not be positioned where the baking soda will stay in place you can apply the super glue first then apply the baking soda but the repair will only be as thick as the pool of glue. Looking at DIY videos on this process the repair is rock solid.

Alternatively as reported in the April 2014 edition of Motorcycle Consumer News they recommend a commercial product called Plast-aid for doing the same thing. In the write up it explains that this product lets you mix the bonding material into a toothpaste like compound which is then applied to the damaged area.

This stuff has saved my butt a few times. I also can't glue my fingers together with it. Highly recommended.

Plastex looks like a good product to use to reinforce or repair vision front fenders using the fiberglass matting material. (Many how to videos on youtube). Thanks for sharing.

Another good fix is acrylic nail kits. It has a liquid and a powder that I have used on many a plastic tab, automotive and the front rear portion of the fender on my Vision.
