Don't for get to bring your ipod in and charge it now and then

Thought this was going to be about "Game of Thrones" !

Yes, first freeze due this week. Had to top off the tire pressures, and I think a new battery is in my near future.

thanks for the reminder. one, my ipod seems to stay charged, so it's in the bike unless I'm updating the playlist. 2) Cleaning supplies? For the bike? I don't need to worry so much there, I don't have any at the moment.

Was surprised on the ride to work this morning- pretty chilly, down about 36.

This is the first cold weather on the Vision since I bought last spring. The thing that really surprised me is I think my Concours actually blocks the wind better overall. Less wind on the hands on the Vision but surprisingly much more on the legs. No I don't have the adjustable lowers; I really don't care for the looks. Maybe as the temps get colder and stay there Connie will get more ride time; she's been pretty neglected since Vicki came home!

Still love the ride!

I'll ride until snow hits the ground; or when they start salting/treating the roads. That chit is corrosive. Temps don't bother me much with the gerbing gear; and the Vision's cold weather accoutrements

The lowers really shine when it comes to extreme heat or cold.  When you need them you really need them, at least that is how I see it. I have the lowers and so far have not backed away at all. If you want to compare to your Concours, at least get similar after market components installed.

Fo me there isn't another accessory that impacts my riding experience the way the lower deflectors do.

Been there already here in the QCA. Snow last week on 22 Oct. Been as low as 25F in the mornings. The snow didn't last more than the day, was riding the next day. Hope to be for another few weeks...or more.

As far as cold weather, I figure it is no different than snow-mobiling...just gotta dress properly and its easy to be comfortable. But riding in the snow, I haven't intentionally braved that although I have only been caught in it one time in the past.

Stay warm and safe, wherever you are.
