I'd like to see a pic of what the old one looked like, because I'm lucky to get 10K out of a set of tires.

well, I left it with the tech but I will tell you it was slick. I run my tires longer than most. I actually ran this one longer than I intended due to a hectic schedule. I know we talk about tires a lot already. I just wanted to tell my personal experience.

I have 13500 on my d3 its "ok" but it won't pass a state inspection I'm pretty sure of that. I never let my tires go until they see the Cords.

on occasion I have run my rear to the cords , never the front and so thankful we don't have state inspections in Alabama.

I always replace my motorcycle tires at or before they first touch the wear bars.
I've had front and rear tire blowouts (back in the early 70's) and don't EVER want to experience another one.

I've been averaging 14,000 miles on each set of E3's, and always replace them in pairs.
The average would have been higher if I wouldn't have had to change them early one time due to a 7,600 mile trip I had planned.
I didn't want to deal with a tire change/belt adjustment in the middle of the trip.

I have a very accurate tire gauge that was purchased from Summit Racing, and found that the pop-up stick gauges were off 2-4 PSI.
Tossed them.
With the new E3's, they recommend 41 PSI front and rear.
