Have a 08 vision with front and top air filters and 02's still hooked up with L1S1.

Put in  Lloydz wheel from Witchdoctors $162 with re usable gasket.  WOW

No more popping gas mileage went up by 5mpg and now I get to 70mph in no time. This is the best money spent. Bike is so much smoother and low end power is great.

You need very few tools.

How do you figure out the setting once installed?

It comes set at +4 degrees but you have the ability to go to +8 degrees. Lloyd says +4 is nominal but as long as you don't get pinging you can set it higher and reap the benefits. If it pings at +4, you can adjust it lower.

I recommend buying the gasket as well. It's made from a metallic compound (stock gasket is fabric/paper) and can be reused if you have to take off the cover again (like when changing the gear timing).

It does give the bike a lot more whump. But, I have found that with two up under 2500rpm or heavy acceleration it will ping even with non-ethanol gas. I may set it back to 2 or 3 degrees haven't quite decided yet. Very rare to ping solo.

You might want to check with Lloyd or Rylan but I am sure Rylan told me with cams they usually set the timing gear at +2. I would back it down until the ping goes away. Hope this helps

I agree that it provides a significant amount of get-up-and-go compared to without it. Unfortunately my mileage may have decreased because that extra pull below 2,500 rpm is way too fun to play with! I'm sure this issue will cease once I get used to the terrible dilemma of having more power to play with!

And YES!!! Buy the gasket that Jedi Jeff is talking about!
