Punta Gorda, Florida | Just noticed my rear brake is going all the way to the fairing, have to pump it to get it to work -- but then it holds. Checked brake fluid seems like its full, no leaks on the cement, checking the rear pads it 'looks ok' but maybe I'm not seeing something. Bike has 7000 miles, I've put 3500 on and I'm not hard on rear brakes. How often are you guys replacing pads?
Ideas?

Punta Gorda, Florida | Just did some searching on the net and see this is a fairly common problem with visions. Apparently, air gets trapped in the brake line and needs to be bled from the front right middle piston. Guess I'll motor on down to the dealer and see what he has to say. |

Rossville, IL | Several of us are having the same problem. I've got an '09 Tour Premium and a close friend has a '10 Ness Vision. We've both been to different dealers trying to get it fixed under the extended warranty and no dice. Guys have had their master cylinders replaced and it didn't fix it. Several have said that replacing the rear brake line fixes it. They postulate that the crimped fitting where the flex line meets the hard line somehow allows air in to the system after it sits for awhile. I think Victory and the extended warranty company is fully aware of the problem as the dealers we spoke to said that they were told that "hoses" are not covered under extended warranty. How did they know it was the brake line without even looking at it then? Anyway, I'll mail order the brake line from Ken's and fix it myself.... Would suggest you file a complaint with the NHTSA (or whatever it is) like several of us already have. |

| In side the owners manual in the first few pages is how to contact the National Highway Safety so we can get Victory to do a recall on our bikes and save some ones life maybe |

Fredonia, WI United States | Having the same problem. Got my bike out for the first time this year. Brake went right to the floor. Dealer worked on it last year though and messed up a couple of things. Figured this was one more thing they screwed up. I haven't ridden it since they touched it (had shoulder surgery while it was in the shop).
So is it something they did? Or the same thing others are having. Tough to tell for sure. |

Chattanooga, TN | I noticed that there is a clamp of sorts on the swing arm which holds the brake line. It is rubbing through the plastic covering to the metal underneath. Definitely a safety issue. |
