Broomfield, CO | Any tips on removing a Vision windshield? I've removed all the bolts but it seems like it's glued on. |

Tumbler Ridge, BC Canada | It shouldn?t be glued if wiggling back and forth doesn?t work. Then use a nylon bar for windshields or dash removal . |

Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | To late for this tip-put masking tape over the nuts to hold them in place and also there are small O Rings on either side of the windshield that are easy to loose if your not careful. |

Broomfield, CO | I figured it out so I thought I'd share what I learned. Turns out there is a rubber gasket/washer at each bolt hole between the windshield and the mounting bracket. This gasket has a small amount of adhesive on both sides. Once I heated each bolt hole using my wifes hair dryer I was able to get the windshield off with a small amount of prying just using my fingers.
The new Ness windshield looks awesome; hope to get her out on the road today! |
