atvtinker - 2013-02-21 2:36 PM Ok guys here is the update on the battery. Tested it at Autozone and it appears to be 425 actual cold cranking amps and is 20a/h. Put it in the bike and it does turn over the bike a lot easier. Starts up a lot quicker (I say alot quicker, probably like 2 seconds faster). Did find that my negative side cable had come loose when taking out the old battery. Bolt was only finger tight. I just checked it before my last trip this past summer. Looks like I'm going to have to put some light duty Loctitie on these bolts if this is going to keep happening. Now for the battery, the post on this thing are a lot beefier and the nut in the top is made into the post. No more fumbling around trying to get it to hold still while you get the bolt started. Everything else about the battery is an exact fit. Will try to post some pics. Last pic shows the voltage with the bike idling. 15 volts? I think my meter is a little off.

skip the lock tight and use lock washers or star washer. Never come loose
