I haven't found one yet. I have been riding for 51 years, and the Vision is the best one yet. I got mine on 6/6/08, and my only complaint is that I don't have enough time to ride it. Mine is a grey tour premium. I've probably had too many bikes, ( for my pocket book),3 Harleys, 2 Moto Guzzi, a Ducati, a Katana, a Concours, 2 Valkyries, and 3 Gold Wings, the last was an 1800, just to mention the highlights. I've also had at least as many dirt bikes. I finally gave them up last year.

The only drawback is not having one.

Vision Tex, I do love the Steel Grey, but I think I would ride Black or Cherry, just so I could ride.

I wanted the Steel Grey but the dealer had the Black Tour Premium on the floor. Bird in the hand wins. I decided that with the chrome, the black looks great.

I agree black & chrome looks awsome on a Vision. Congrats. My super steel to my eye looks right with the stock aluminum brushed inserts.........I would consider maybe a darker grey powdercoat..but the body work is a nightmare to remove and install.......I'm leavin it stock.

One drawback I find is glare from the dash. The brushed aluminum dash will be painted black as soon as I get the time.

I powdercoated mine black, and it makes a world of difference. I also saw on this site that someone used a stick-on carbon fiber sheet on their dash which looks great!-----Metalguy

I agree, the glare off the dash is distracting. The other drawback I see are the mirrors - I can't see who's behind me! I'll have to get stick-on fish eye mirrors which should help.

I put the glare down as a warranty issue, we'll see where they go with that one. I ride with my windshield in the low position, but when the best half rides, it goes up. All I can see is that blasted glare!

I got my black tour premium on 5/30/08. Put 2000 miles on it. Sunday all the silver parts came off to be painted black. I had no idea what a pain is was to get them off. Still waiting on the shop manual from the dealer. I'm sure it will be worth the effort. Photos to follow.

This is all good stuff for me to hear - I pick up my Tour Premium in gray on Saturday! I can't wait to give it the shakedown cruise riding home from Jacksonville, FL. Pray for good weather. Already ordered some accessories from Victory. Also interesting about the difficulty of removing panels. I figured I would paint it at some point to put my signature on it. Keep us posted and provide some pictures of the process and transformation.

Be happy and safe!

We have started to chrome out our Black Premium. Dealer wanted 4-5 hrs labor to do entire job. I didn't agree and have already replaced the Access Panel (just pops off at both corners-watch out for the antenna stuck to the bottom), rear valance (6 screws) and the side covers (took 6 minutes-pop offs again). Haven't had time to check out the front grill set, but I will have the dealer install the inner fairing. Too many panels have to come off and the electrics for the Victory Badge is there. I need to hear from someone how to get the dash panel off to get it painted-is it a pop off as well?
Thanks

I have a Black Tour Premium and I had the dealer put the 4 chrome parts on the front and around the engine. It took the dealer 2.25 hours to install and cost me $146.25 in labor. The parts were $1399.96 but my dealer gave me a 10% discount. I love the chrome and black combo. Will send a pic when sun shines again. The front engine chrome behind the badges really looks good reflecting off the engine.
