Perry Hall, MD | My 27 year old is still riding my old bike but has his eye on the 8-ball Vision. I'm not sure how futuristic design, great handling/performance, and dependability equate to your father's bike. I take the question as being just one more way that someone has found to express their ignorance. |

hudson, IL United States | I told someone once that my dad wishes he had my bike. And if 31 is to old to have a vision then my wife and I are in trouble. When we bought our vision I was 25 and she was 23. I am now 28 it's paid off, we have had a kid, and still love to ride our bike. BTW does anyone know where to get a side car for the vision. LOL |

Marietta, GA | My kids look at the vision and just shudder. they are much more a sport bike crowd, but my 22 yr old, is *ALMOST* ready for a cruiser, since his back and wrists ache whenever he rides with me (Yamaha f6r), since I can go forever on the vision (though he does leave me in the dust sometimes). |

Pittsburgh, PA | I'm 42 now. Bought my V92C 12 years ago. It was my first bike. As soon as I saw the Vision, I knew that I would own one. It took a few years but I have one and it is a joy to ride and I can not imagine long rides on any other bike. I never did get the idea of buying what the "in crowd" approved of. I have old-school Harley guys that try to get under my skin about the spaceship looking thing. But I always tell them that when they buy me my bikes then they can tell me what to ride. I was never asked about my dads bike but for about 15 years I drove a 1996 and then a 2002 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Guys my age would always bitch about my choice of vehicle. I told them back then that you can not beat luxury and comfort. The same is true with our choice of bikes. |

All I know is the average age is VERY OLD. I've seen some dusty old farts as old as 50!! That's ancient! Probably takes them 1/2 hour just to remember where their Geritol is. I can't believe they can still mount a bike when they're that old. |

Kerrville Texas ( now a homeowner on six acres) | Hey there Monkeyman, Take it easy on us old guys! I will turn 68 in July and I still have a great passion for riding the Vision . Was 62 when we traded the Kingpen for the 08 vision in Sept. of 07.
My bride (64) AND i TOOK A 4,400 MILE TRIP THIS PAST SEPT. We love to ride and ride to love!!!!
YEA for all us old dudes and dudettes!!!!

Land O Lakes, FL | I think the old fart thing really equates more with the Goldwing crowd, most people usually comment on its size not so much that I'm too young for it (ill 40 this year). And everyone loves it!

W'ford Tx | I have a ridged frame v65 that I can put around town it. It's not as big and a little easier to get in and out of small spaces. More then likely because I've been riding a "traditional" motorcycle longer then this heavy (but well balanced and handeling) machine. My confidence just isn't there to take those figure 8s that some of you dudes do with this heavy of a bike. That being said I love my vision most. I think it looks more "traditional" with the trunk off, more stream line or whatever. I ride with a club here in Tx and I wanted an American bike so I COULD be a patched member. I chose the vision because of everything it offers. I try not to get into the "it's better then a harley" conversations for obvious reasons BUT they're great bikes and I usually don't get any flack from "real" riders. Like I stated earlier I'm 28 and 5'11 180lbs I don't exactly fill out the bike but I love it. Age is a number blah blah blah If you like it and can afford it, get whatever suits you. |

Scraped the boards each way, too. My bike is too new to risk dumping it just to prove something (to myself...I don't give a shit what others think). |
