Seen some discussion on fork oil change on the vision at 15,000 miles and the cost being quite high.Checked with my dealer and he charges $75.00 to do the job 1 hr.time.Seems reasonable to me.Will schedule it for spring.if the oil is anything like my 2003 Tour cruiser it was black and dirty. Will let you know what it looked like.

I just had mine changed for the first time at 46k. I removed the tubes and took them to the dealer they charged me $168.00 for all the seals, oil and labor. Make sure the $75 is not just the labor cost. BTW I asked for and received a sample of the old oil which was dark but after allowing it to settle over night cleared up. There was some residue on the bottom of the bottle but it did not appear to contain any wear metals. I will be sending it in for an analysis?s but at this time I?m not sold on having to change the fork oil every 15k.

Beware: Check out discussion on VMC forums for hi mileage and steer bearings. Just went through changing fork oil at 37+ fluid chrystal clear but found lower steering head bearing disintegrated. No indications but only about 1/16 inch of fwd and back play. Look at pics and you will see why you must remove triple tree to inspect. Just my 2cents and wanring of possible failure
