Apopka, FL | I know a lot of VV riders LOVE their bikes but complain about their mirrors. Some have added bubble stick-ons, some have added stem aftermarket mirrors. The stock mirror positioning, I wasn't happy with either. You can only change the mirror pivot so much. I recently took off the front panel (in front of the windshield; not sure what you call it) and loosened the 2 bolts holding the mirror position. I readjusted them slightly inward, tightened them back up and then went around the other side and started playing with the mirrors.
MUCH BETTER! You actually see more of your hands, but you see more of the road behind you. I now can see totally both lanes in my mirrors and what is directly behind me. I am totally happy now with my VV mirrors. And it only took me 2 years to figure it out! |
