Just got home from Yellowstone 2750 miles round trip on the Commander II rear tire. I have been an E3 fan for years but after running this tire across IA, SD & WY then in the mountains for 3 days, It is one hell of a tire.

Pros:

1. The tire didn't develop a flat spot from riding mile after mile of flat lands.
2. It handles the rain very well.
3. It sticks very well in the twisties.
4. The tire did not start to howl like an E3 does after a couple thousand miles.
5. Much less expensive than an E3

Cons:

None yet. I will keep you posted.

Excellent. What's on the front?

I still have the stock E3 on front. I will probably go back to an E3. A friend on mine has a matching set on a V Star 1300 and he doesn't recommend the front tire from Michelin. In his words, it is a bit pointy and tends to make the bike fall into a corner in slow maneuvers.

I've ridden on my commander II for 300 miles, and I love the tire. Of course the old tire was completely spent! But it provides a nice ride and corners very well.

My buddy just put them on his HD Ultra. 500 miles so far and he's like them. He does almost 20K a year. they are supposed to last twice as long as the stock Dunlops. Guess we won't know that till next year. They don't make a 21 for my Ness front. Metezler just offered it. I have 300 miles on it and very happy so far. Haven't been in the rain yet. Rides very smooth.
