Posted a DIY flag mount in the Vision Tech-Reference for any CycleOps rack owner.
Didn't know if there was a General Victory Tech-Reference.

Hey there Darrell, glad to hear you like the rack so much. You didn't mention it, but I sure hope you used SS on everything, especially the threaded rod as any moisture get's in there under the rubber heat shrink and you'll be dripping rust down and out in short order. That collar nut isn't gonna last too long either. This is where ours are worth the cost as they're all welded one piece construction and are either polished SS or powder coated SS, hardware and all. Secondly, we use specially made 1/8" thick SS washers top and bottom (early protos showed the thinner SS fender washers would bend a little with a flag on at higher speeds. With the upper one welded to the staff on ours plus the thicker material they're rock solid. With this is mind you may want to double up on the washers top and bottom.

Lastly, the 3/8" rod will only fit in the spot you put it where our 5/16" rod just fits into all the wings slots giving a lot more versatility, plus the availablility to mount several.
