| Whenever you have your forks apart take a really good look at the bushings just below the fork seal. At 30K mine were completely worn out. They only take a moment to replace and cost $15 per pair. While you're in there you might as well replace the seals as well at $26 per pair. Cheap insurance :-)

Ventura County, CA | Thanks for the info. Just had my seals replaced by the dealer last week at 26k miles. They did not say anything about bushings worn out.. I know that they would not have had them in stock as it tools several weeks to get the seals. Looks like I may be in for another rebuild before 50K miles. |
