Trell,
KY definitely not too far away. They have many awards, youngest licensed rider, oldest, etc. and the longest distance ridden to the event. KY will NOT win, I promise. If you would like to join up with us, there are different groups leaving from the Birmingham and surrounding areas. I will be riding down with a couple of SCRC groups. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you meet times. I know of at least two different type rides, one interstate down, backroads back, the other no interstate planned. However the "no interstate planned ride" will be much more....uh...spirited.

Ghostssx,
There are several meet places, but probably the best place for you would be the Cracker Barrel in Pelham at I65 and Hwy 119 (Exit 246). Some will meet early for breakfast, but as of now the ride will leave at 7am. It is 209 miles from there to Stagecoach. There will be one fuel/rest stop in Greenville, which is about half way. Some will then head back the same way, and some of us will enjoy some of the AL backroads.
