I'm a HD RG rider and I'm interested in Victory's Vision and Cross Country Tour. I see the Victory website says demo any bike anytime. Do all dealerships have all bikes, and are they demo bikes, or bikes out of regular inventory? How long can you ride?

Thanks!

My current bike:

Where do you live? You should go to Vic's web site to see where the demo truck will be. Not all dealers have all the models of bikes.
Taking them for a ride might be only a short one cause there trying to sell it and don't want to rack up a lot of miles on them. Your
deal sales men might have a personal bike that he would let you ride for a half hour or so. You should really find your local dealer and talk to them.
Good hunting.

SYNSTR was the Service Managers ride when I bought it, he put about $3600 worth of dressups from the catalog on it, I got it with 1700 miles on it for under $19K so it was just broken in & 99% of the miles on local city streets. So, essentially it was a 'demo'.
I'd check with dealers and see what they have that was a DEMO and you could save yourself some serious bux as the salesman moves to the new bike and the 'old one' could have some pricey options on it.

Welcome aboard the forum CHIPMAKER, machinist or woodworker, and where are you located?

The different dealers in the Midwest (Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois) I had visited before buying my VISION always encouraged me to take it out for a ride. Depending on the dealer will depend if they stock all models, but these dealers were great about testing the bikes. I had taken a test ride closing in on an hour and never had any dealer give me grief over it. I suppose it could depend on the bike and the ownership, but I had good experiences.

And even now when I gake my ride in for service, my dealer will give me a bike to ride for the day to get to work or just cruise around. This is usually a salesman's or the owner's bike, but typicaly late/new model. I dig that.

Good luck in your search...and enjoy it!

Although demo truck is the best idea, the dealer here in Albuquerque is great about letting you test ride any bike he has in stock.
He knows if you ride one, you'll own one.

Well worth the time. The demo truck has a better selection and they are for riding.

My dealer insisted I take an extended ride so I did. After test riding a BMW,Honda and a Harley I knew the Vision was for me.
