Does anyone know whether the handrail stud that is attached to the bottom of the handrail is a press-fit stud, or a threaded stud? They attach with a 13mm nut, but the stud comes attached to the handrail from the factory.

Thanks,

witchbiker

The stud is cast into the plastic.
So what do you want to do? If you do a search you can see a step by step on how to remove them.

From what I remember its a "molded-in" type stud meaning the plastic envelopes the stud.
