What ells are you doing and is your bike stock?
If your bike is stock a Lloydz AIR valve might be worth the money so you can tune the pop's out.
If you have cams I would do a PCV and get the most out of your motor

First, I would probably get through the first 500 mile inital break-in. Is this required, nope.
Second, since your looking at the thunder sticks.... pick up the phone and call Lloydz shop. They are the one's selling them, they should be able to correctly answer this.

My opinion, adding these would not be much different than doing a Stage1. I did similar, removed stockers and added Ness Honkers. Since it is a pipe upgrade, normal stage1 is upgraded front filter. I also added Ness top filter for even more air. Then, you may be running very lean if you don't get the Stage1 mapping...I didn't and instead use the Lloydz VFC GenIII (from previous 2008 jackpot) to add a bit more fuel on top of stock map and am using settings as provided by Lloyd. Runs hard and sounds mean...

Best of luck to ya.

Blue,

I have your exact setup.  What settings are you using on the VFCIII?  I seem to have a lot of soot coming out where the heatshield meets the tips. and it's getting discolored like it's running hot.  The one makes me think it's rich, the other makes me think it's lean.  But my mileage sucks also.  Only getting about 36mpg.
