I was riding up in the North Georgia Hills this past Labor Day weekend and I passed,in a curve, another VIsion riding 2 up. Was wondering if it was any of you? It was a great weekend to ride, but i had to don the rain gear to make it home.

Glad you had a great ride! I do have a question though KB, what is this "rain gear" you speak of...?

Hey Kornbread,

I was in the mountains most of the weekend and I saw an Ice Blue vision in the Nantahala Forest on Saturday and actually we we in edge of North Carolina at that time. You were with 2 other Harleys and I had a BMW 1200LT following me. That was the only Victory of any kind I saw on the trip. We rode 450 miles over 2 days and when we saw the Ice Blue we were headed to The Rivers End restaurant for lunch then over to the Skyway to Tellico Plains. We stayed in Sweetwater Tn then Sunday back home by 3:30 so we didn't have any problems with the rain. The Skyway was nice on Saturday as the temp stayed around 85 but when we came down it was 103 and would jump to 110 when we stopped. Sunday was great as the temp never got over 85 the whole day, 230 miles on Saturday and 220 on Sunday. Sunday we did ride by the Ocoee river and the Olympic whitewater site and it was really flowing but the whole trip we never had any traffic until we got back to Helen Ga on Sunday for lunch.

You have been riding some of my FAVORITE ROADS. Was there Memorial Day weekend with a group of friends and had a great time. The guy leading really liked it when I was at the back. That white Vision with a headlight modulator is easy to pick up in a mirror and know everyone made the light or turn. But when in the twisties I was in second. Just kinda hard to pass a CBR1000 with a guy that really knows how to ride it.

Joker, I was on an all black 08 Vision Premium. All of the silver panels blacked out. I never saw the Ice Blue Vision. I saw another Black one.

If it was me I didn't see you, but I have a 08 Black Premium with the front panel blacked out and the rest chrome and I was 2 up. I was being followed all weekend by a green BMW 1200LT also 2 up. On Saturday we went I-985 from Buford to Gainesville then back roads to Corneila. We jumped on 441 and made a gas stop in Clayton, from that point on we were in N.C. and Tenn until Sunday afternoon.
