No hint of a Vision anywhere except when they quickly list the full line-up at about 00:35.  I realize they were highlighting the Cross Country Tour and Highball but anyone watching that video wouldn't have a clue that the Vision even exists in 2012.  I think the Mothership is afraid of it.  The Cross country Tour is definitely safe and mainstream but I'm not sure it is ready to dethrone the Vision as Victory's flagship touring bike like the video suggests.

Just a little somethin that makes me go "Huh."  We are in our own little world here at Vision-Riders.

Tom, I have a mechanic selling his '08 Ultra Classic on Craigslist. His replacement bike is going to be a 2012 Cross Country Tour. You are 100% correct, "We are in our own little world here."

IMO the Vision is what put Victory "on the map." Our bikes will be highly collectable as a turning point model in the company's early history. We just won't be here to see it.

The stuff that looked wierd when it came out is what ends up being collectible. I see my Vision as a two wheeled eqivalent of the Dodge Daytonas and Plymouth Superbirds. Compare the auction prices between a '69 Coronet (that everyone bought) and a '69 Daytona.

Songfan, you are correct. And it's why in another thread I said the Vision is going to disappear. XC/CC is bringing in the HD guys, something the Vision could not do. And as anyone knows HD has the huge majority of the cruiser market. I still have hope the Vision survives, but I just don't see it when I look at the numbers. Perhaps like Honda's losing Gold Wing they will keep it as a loss leader. But why, when they have a touring XC that does much of the same and brings in the sales. Yes, I know, the XC will never be as good as the Vision. But sales are what matters.

I talked to a Victory engineer at the AVR last year and told him that if the Cross Country came out with a power windshield they would absolutely kill Harley.  He said that certain things are reserved for the Vision to keep it as the flagship and that was one of them.

My two favorite bikes from Victory are the Vision and the Cross Country with the aerodynamic crash bars because they are so damn different.  I guess that's why I'll never be a marketing guy for Victory.

I have room for more posters.

I have a hard time believing the Vision will go away anytime soon. It is the standard at which the XCT was judged by the Victory engineers. I own a XC and a Vision tour and I love them both, however I would not consider riding the XC coast to coast over the Vision. It is just not as comfortable as the Vision, not that is it uncomfortable.

They could have at least had a Vision in the background someplace in the video. My riding buddy that always ribs me about when am I getting a Harley wants to go test ride a 2012 Cross Country tour. I knew he'd see things my way at some point LOL!

Hi, I like the cross bikes and realize they are the bread and butter, HOWEVER I still get a bonar everytime I see a Vision. Its a love it or hate it type of styling just like my 1971 Buick Riviera Boattail was..........

Even though to me theres nothing prettier that my '09 Blue Ice Vision.....I got very excited when I saw the new Vision colors. Lets face it......color has alot to do with the appeal of a bike or a car
