well the flying vision has been at the stealership since may 6th in a basket. Allstate insurance has been great to deal with and I have a check in hand, great right? I go today to check up on the bike in person so they can give me the stupid look of I dunno.

The kid looks it up in the computer like that is going to do something, gives me the look of stupidity and then says lets talk to service and goes in the back to talk and comes back and tells me that Victory and or its supplier hasn't sent the paint for my bike yet so for a quart of shitty midnight dark cherry paint my bike sits in a corner in a basket collecting dust. Maybe they need more time??? Shit!!

This coming from a company who says their bikes are so much better than harley davidson but do they ever talk about their their super service? I think not. The stealership owner is supposed to call me, we'll see. Victory is the only place on planet earth that would have midnight cherry paint???? I don't think so!!!

The most irritating thing of it all is the I dont give a crap, and thats your problem attitude I get from the desk when I go there. You can be sure some day when the bike might get done and its time to to pay the bill they will be all smiling like they just did me a big fat favor of doing their job and with out them all life would be terminated. They will be holding out their hand for the $4,500 check just a smiling.

I hope the rest of you have better luck with getting your bike repaired than than I do.

Boy do I miss reaming i used to get at H.D. but at least they got the job done. I really am beginning to miss my old flh.

It sounds like the dealer has drop the ball. Don't blame Vic till you find out the truth.

What parts are they painting? I have always been led to believe new parts come from Polaris in the color needed. If they are repairing parts''' I'm scared!

+1 Factory replacement parts come pre painted. Sorry your having troubles I have crashed Deer Crusher twice and had no issue getting replacement parts and speedy installation

Have you looked into Rider Down from Polaris ?

Eric, I feel for you and understand your frustration. I'd be pissed off too! Don't know why they are painting parts, but most good sized towns have auto paint places! I had a part painted for my other bike and the painter told me to go to this paint place he uses with my bike and have them mix the paint. He called to tell 'em how much. Next day the paint was ready and it was in my painter's hands! And my suburb only has about 100k people (I really don't live in the city of Orlando, but next door)

I'm fortunate to have a dealer that gets the job done in a reasonable time and actually gives a schitz about his clients.

Hope your bike is done quickly and you are riding again.

If it makes you feel any better a friend did a tank slapper and dented his aluminum V-rod tank. It took the entire summer to get a new tank, shipping back two, with the third finally to his liking. Mind you, no paint, just aluminum with a clear coat. Okay, I'm done. Hope you get yours resolved soon.

A lot of the pigments are made in Japan.
Ford had to quit selling a few different colors (Tuxedo Black being one of them) until the paint factory in Japan gets back up and running after the disasters they had.
