Some of ya know already but I bought this Vision back in February and the previous owner did a nice job of blacking out all the silver panels, the wheels, the rotors, the drive pully, ect. But the passenger grab handles were still silver and so were the forks and calipers. Looking at that silver stuff drove me crazy so I took care of it!

I painted the forks & calipers today. What ya think?

Took the wheel and fender off. Removed the calipers from the forks, pulled all the rubber parts off, the pads, clips, bolts and cleaned the hell out of everything. Masked off the pins, bleaders, brake lines, axle wholes and black plastic "shrouds" at the top of the forks. Masked off the bike too. Clear coated, yes.

Yeah, it would be better to disassemble everything but that kind of work is for winter, IMO.

I chuckle in side when I see a black bike. Was in sturgis one year and there were I'll say 8 black ultras in a row and kind a wounder how the owners would know witch one was theres.
I do like the looks of a black vision very sweat.
