To LOWER the headlamp beam, turn the knob
CLOCKWISE (as viewed from the operator?s
seat).
4. To RAISE the headlamp beam, turn the knob
COUNTER-CLOCKWISE (as viewed from the seat.

Ok now I read the fine print "from the drivers seat" didn't see these word the first five time I read how to.

just as a general rule, direction and location is always from the item facing forward. It's good they mention the driver seat.

If the adjuster spins freely it's probably bottomed out, off the end of the adjustement axle, or stripped out.

I've not taken a good look at it, but I believe it is very fine thread. I adjust mine to the extreme up position to change the bulbs, it makes it much easier. It takes a little bit to get it to adjust down, but it does, and then get it back to a good level adjustment for the road takes a few tries. But it seems like it turns forever to get it up or down, but it does move. Hope this heps.

Thanks for the tip! I still haven't had to do the dreaded bulb change.

I got it adjusted today.
They say if you have to change the bulbs pull the filter and it will give your hand some room.
