Like the theme and the artwork! Curious as to what a paint job like this costs? Surely not a paint job for the weekly commuter. I think I'd just about shed a tear at the first scratch.

I'm guessing 5-6K - I laid down 4K for my VTX. Lots of prep time/work for these multi layered paintjobs...

I spent 6k on my paint job, the bike has 30k miles on it, you need to ride it to show off the great paint job!

Im glad to see people understand the amount of time and work that goes into one of these jobs. Just the cut and buff is alot of work. It definetly takes your bike to the next level.

The average guy doesn't realize how many hours of prep work and number of coats of paint/clear go into a truly custom paintjob. People would stop to look/gawk at my bike, and I'd always hear them say, "that paint looks a mile deep." It was, literally. My painter and I had a great time with the work he did for me; never saw another flame job look anything like mine-totally worth it, and with top quality clearcoat, it made for an almost bullet(rock chip) proof finish. Cool beans, dude. Freakin' artists, they are.....
