Well I haven't been disapointed with the VV, but it has been popping, and seems as if it just doesn't have the kick.  I checked with Mike at AZ Victory and ordered a PC.  Saturday I got it installed along with the 15K service.  Got it back took it out and didn't really think it was that much of an improvement other than the pops mostly disappeared.  The bike seemed to be a lot smoother on acceleration and seemed to get there a little quicker.  Didn't really know how much more until I rode with a couple other Vic owners that have XCountries and a XRoad.  My bike flat out runs away from them now!  I am going to put the cams in in the next 4K or so, but for now this will do.  I want to load the trailer up and see if it makes any difference in pull power.  I had lots of folks telling me that just a PC would not make any difference, but I am a believer!

Justbob,
I also just installed the PCV, the only other thing that i did was, had them install the pipes that Mike sells and let me tell you, that there was such a big difference in the power i could not beleive. I know that on my 2009 Vision i was told that the are other items that would have to install with the cam kit and would cost more.
Try the pipes and you would be happy in my opinion.
Good luck

I have had the Ness Big Honkers since I purchased the bike.  I don't know how it sounded prior cause it has always had them since I have owned the bike.  I'll take that back, I rode a 09 VV completely stock and it sounded like a washing machine.  It's why I purchased the bike with the Honkers.  I think I am going to switch to thrush car mufflers.

The sound of the pipes that Mike sells has a deeper sound to them and sound much better. I have heard the Big Honkers and it does not compare. You are right about the stock sound, and i dont have to hear that anymore.
