Subject: Oil Cooler Screen

Central Wisconsin

After cleaning the bugs out of the oil cooler with compressed air and a toothbrush.

I decided to cut a ( 5" x 6 1/2" ) piece of galvanized hardware cloth for the oil cooler.

Attached the hardware cloth with some nylon lock ties.

You could use a different type screen, spray paint the screen black and/or use wire or thin hose clamps to attach.

Looks good.....Oh by the way if the Vision does not start reconnect the negative terminal. Just kidding. I am sure you disconnected it to make certain you did not get a short when installing the screen.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks...

I originally planned on cleaning the battery terminals since I had the front wheel off for a new tire.

Just couldn't stand the way the oil cooler looked so I cleaned it and protected it.

Oh...I decided to take off the factory negative cable and install a longer one. I routed the new negative cable through the hole to the left of the battery.

It really cleans up the cable/wire clutter and makes the black plastic wire/circuit breaker cover easier to install.
