Just realized it was three years ago today I first logged on this site. Didn't have the Vision yet, only a few here did at that time...a lot of frustration on not getting them! Most everyone was obsessed in getting their bikes. Some of the famous posters back then are not here now...one can only wonder. Back then we were all in a frenzy about information on the Vision. There wasn't much talk about oil, tires, cams, or radio reception, hell how could you talk about that stuff when you didn't have the bike. Folks put thousands of $s down on bikes they had never even seen let alone rode. What a time that was...the wait was like Christmas when you was 6 years old. If you go back and read some of the stuff posted back then, it was really raw stuff. Thanks to Jeff and Miles for the site, I really enjoy the contact with other Vision riders, thanks, there are some great folks here. See you all on down the road.

I had just fallen in love - for the FIRST time - with a bike I had only seen a picture of in Popular Science. I remember this well - and have not been disappointed....

I just realized it has been almost exactly 2 years ago that Brian and Chris were awarded "The Golden Bib" as the most loquacious members with their One-Thousand Posts !

Thanks, all you Guys & Gals for some entertaining and educational .... submissions!

Lets have a discussion about Left Saddle Bag Dimples!

My bike was built on 12/20/2007 and it did not have the dimple.....but many made before mine did!

donetracey - there are many more droolers who have surpassed even I. Wondering where their BIB award has fallen too. It would only seem fitting, I see songfan with 2331 post, his have been mostly eye candy, which everyone here will high five to.

I have the dimples. I thought asking for replacements would bring more trouble then good.

Do you realize that you are sneaking up on your first kilopost, yourself? Maybe we'd better keep that bib handy.

It's too tough now to do awards for contributors - folks like Chris 'hide' their post-count.
Only our illustrious WebMiesters know the whole truth. And it is THEY who should be recognizing the contributors value to us all, such as Songfan.

I shall continue to 'drool' as long as my fingers can work a keyboard. The way the brain is going - I'm never sure what comes out.... :>

I'm both proud and ashamed of my post count. But for what it's worth it is all forum fodder fun fondled for friends from far friaries.

There so many terrific posts on this board that's it's tough to decide who has the best, but I can't get enough of SongFan's motivational posters. Very creative.
