Hey guys! Just a Vision owner wannabe, thought I'd poke around for awhile until I can get some finances together, maybe learn a thing or two.

My current ride is an '06 Buell Lightning, which is a great, low maintenance ride that's a TON of fun. But honestly, it's more "sport" than I need, or will ever use. But you know what I COULD use? Some more convenient storage space and some room to spread out on my daily commutes (I'm 6').

I like weird stuff. That's one of the things that drew me to the Buell in the first place. Now I see this Vision, and I'm thinking that's one of the sweetest, most interesting bikes I've ever laid eyes on.

Stopped in this past weekend at the local dealer to butt-fit one. No test ride, because I know I'm in no position to actually buy. Loved it. Can't stop staring at pics on the Internet now, and showing it to coworkers. I'm hooked.

Funny thing, I took the Buell when I went to the dealership. They thought I was there to look at a Triumph Speed Triple or something. You should have seen the guy's face when I told him I was there for the Vision! Guess I don't fit the normal Vision demographic.

Ah, come on board. My Vision is my ride of choice most days, I also have a HD RoadGlide and a 115 HP 1424cc Sportster that looks like a XRTT race bike. You'll love the Vision................

Some 08 Visions have gone thru Ebay recently....at some fair prices. Heck, there are even a couple of 09 models on Ebay.

And also the swap & sell board here at the site is a good place to keep an eye on.

Ha, that reply made me curious, so I hit Google. Had no idea an "8 ball" could be drug slang. Now my thread title seems all wrong!

Riding a Vision is all the 'high" you will need.
I wonder how much you could get for your Buell now that HD dropped them? Makes it tough.
My advice is DON'T take a test drive. O.o

No idea. XB models tend to go for around $4k if they're in good shape, from what little I've seen. The remaining new stock sold out in a hurry because of the fire sale most dealers had. Hard to tell which will win out in the end: 1.) fear of mot being able to get parts, which will drive the price down, or 2.) dwindling supply, which would drive the price up.
