Necktie,

I wont be much help here my CB has never worked to my satisfaction. I keep forgetting to take in my headset gear to the shop so they can test it.

I was thinking of buying a cheap CB transmitter so I can have someone talk to the radio for a receiver test. My only test set that makes AM signals to test the receiver is a Koren War era vacuum tube signal generator. It is 60 years old but it works great.

If you have a watt meter you can see if it is transmitting.

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Ride Safe!

Thanks RT
I guess all I can do is get it home and let the dealer have at it. If it means buying a new CB then it will stay this way.
