South Florida could begin seeing severe weather with winds gusting up to 60 m.p.h. early Wednesday morning as a cool front blows down from the north.
There will be no fog, as was seen this morning, but the National Weather Service is predicting the possibility of small hail as the temperature falls throughout Wednesday.
"There's a slight risk of severe weather, mostly gusty winds," said Barry Baxter, a forecaster for the National Weather Service in Miami. "We'll start tomorrow in the 60's but be down into the 50's by the afternoon."
The coolest temperatures will be Wednesday night into Thursday morning when Palm Beach County areas will dip into the lower to mid 40's with a northwest wind of up to 10 m.p.h. The wind chill in Palm Beach County will make it feel like the temperature is in the mid 30's.
Treasure Coast area temperatures will dip into the upper 30's with a northwest wind making it feel like between 30 and 33 degrees.
The squall line bringing the cool front is currently over Florida's Panhandle, Baxter said.
It's going to be a short cold snap. By Thursday, temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 60's and be back in the mid 70's by Friday.
Eighty-degree weather will return on Saturday.
I'm not expecting any sympathy from this crowd, but am happy that perfect weather will return for my 300+ mile trip on Friday! I'm also fortunate that Walt from Victory of South Florida will be picking up my Vision today for the 500 mile service and returning it on Thursday. This way, I don't get stuck riding back through the impending storm. Thanks Walt! |

Las Vegas, Nevada USA baby! | Awww shuck PBR, our SoNev's slow temp climb is for room temp this week. (80's by mid to late march, 90's by mid april, 100's by may-june, and into august finishing with hundred-teens.)
That's great that they pick up and deliver for service! After that I know the miles will come!
