Thanks everyone for your responses about a hitch for the 2011 VV. I have talked with Todd at HitchDoc and am leaning toward that hitch. According to Todd, the setup is the same as 2010. Just one thing; I'm planning on towing a Aspen camp trailer which is very similar to the Bunkhouse. The HitchDoc hitch has a fairly heavy tongue weight and I'm wondering if there is anyone with the experience of towing the Bunkhouse or Aspen with the VV and a HitchDoc hitch.

If you are concerned about the Hitch Doc hitch being able to handle the weight, don't be...

I chuckle every time I see that pic. I have visions (sic) of Larry the Cable Guy "That's funny right there, I don't care who you are".

This past summer on my way thru Wyoming on I-25 north toward Sturgis, I saw a southbound grey Vision towing a full length (15ft?) landscaper's trailer! Couldn't tell if he had anything in the trailer because it had wood planking on the sides! It was already a heavy beast! How do you fit a 2" receiver on a Vision???

Seems like the SSGs not only can haul ass, they can tow the heavy load. Go SSG!

Better than being on chaos.

Not as good as being on mescaline.
