I just installed s1L1 exhaust on my 09 and have not had it reflashed. Anyone done this? Is it a big concern if I dont get it reflashed right away? I did not change the air filter yet. The bike seems to be running fine.

I installed the Atom Bomb modified mufflers and also didn't change the air filter or re-flash. Put on over 2,000 miles with the new exhaust, no problems. I pulled the plugs every few hundred miles to check for any signs of running lean or hot and they look perfect. Mine pops very occasionally during shifting from 1st to 2nd, but otherwise runs beautifully, so I'm not going to reflash mine.

I have been running the s1L1 exhuast pipes for about 4000 miles on my 08 with a stock flash and filter, after 1000 miles I quit checking the spark plugs also. It runs great.

The flash, from what I understand from the wrench at my dealer, is more important for the intake vs. the exhaust. So, if
you don't change the filter fron stock, you should be alright. If you want to get all "performance" the upgrade has to offer,
then at that point, go for the reflash.

S1L1 , intake filter, and reflash, couldn't be happier. Why not reflash and get full benefit of the upgrade. I love the added power.
