Well....nothing "voids" a warranty.

Take a look at mine and Kevin X posts in this thread. http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=5328&sta... It should answer your questions.

Jeff, Lloyd's stuff is the best. I had Stage one with level 2 pipes. I did not go to Lloyd's air box until I went with the cams and controller. Can't hurt putting it on, don't know what you gain on just the plate alone. What pipes you going with?

You can get a modest gain with just the intake plate and VFC... Of course the cams take it to a whole new level...

Worked on this in Daytona last year. VFC and intake plate added on average 8HP.
Cams added an extra 22HP.

Same result as #57 I have 113 HP/114TQ using the same pipies, cams only I have the Arlen Ness intake plate. Dyno results from 2009 Spirit lake.

I wish Lloyd could get pass the rev limiter I was still making power when it hit the limiter. Llyod thinks there is a few more HP on the top and I agree.

im not talking about victory when i tell this short story. but i know someone.. actually someone on HERE, that had his kawasaki denied for a warranty claim to his engine because of a aftermarket intake (thunder mfg.) they claimed it didnt form a good seal and there for allowed dirt to pass which caused the piston rings to wear prematurely.. Now keep in mind many others already have had their rings replaced for the same issue and some of their intakes were bone stock.. It was kawasakis way of getting out of a costly repair.. Kawasaki found their "way out" and took it...
