I don't know about the 116" motor but I know the 106" stock has more HP and torque than a 110" Screaming Eagle. Several people here have put cams and a fuel controller on the 106" and have posted some pretty impressive numbers. (search cam party) My bike heads to the dealer tomorrow for the same treatment...............I don't need more power I just want more power. Once you see what these guys are getting with just cams you may decide to save yourself some money.

Is the 116" being advertised for the Vision?
I would think that you send him your cylinders while he sends you his with new castings.

I can't find the 116" kit that you're talking about. Can you post a link to it?

LLoyd has been building big bore kits for quite some time.
What he has started putting into Visions is a 114" kit.

If anyone sends heads to Lloyd please make sure to pack them well. I was there one day when he opened a set from a customer and 2 big pieces were out of them from banging together. I can imagine the pain of getting it straightened out with a shipping company never mind the customer waiting to get it all straightened out to get their bike back together. I can assume all that could be done with those heads were sent to a recycling center. There goes the core exchange and how much wasted time?

The Lloydz web site list a 105.5mm bore which is actually 115.2 cu in, rounded up to a 116" of course. Hey they all seem to do that in the motorcycle world............I did the math 105.5 X 108= 115.2 cu in or 1887cc................The stock 106 is actually 105.6 cu in or 1730cc...........

But more to the point I was wondering if anyone had a "116" and how they liked it and if there is any problems with it? I like overkill as long as it's not a maintenance nightmare......

Hey Steve,

I was just looking at your e-mail also but might as well clarify some items here.
The 116's have only gone in "race" Bike applications.

We are currently R&Ding a NEW big bore kit for 08-10 bikes. This new kit will be 114+ C.I.
and will have all the good stuff needed for the special requirements of these new motors and for Touring bikes. We've been doing big bores for 5 years now and have went through a major learning curve with them and have also experienced other company's attempts and this past year a major manufacturing screw up in our pistons. But what this does is make the learning and final product that much better.
We know that we can make smaller kits that perform better then the larger kits available but the consumers always wants bigger so this next generation kit will be just that, Bigger and powerful.

The VM1 cam went through a slight change for these new kits and has actually been replaced since June. There's also some new exhausts available so this year Touring will be at it's best. I can personally say that there isn't any sweeter of a ride then a Vision that makes 130 hp and 128 ft lbs.
Now that I personally have an interest in Victorys touring bikes you'll see some more focus on them in the future.
