| Hello All
I'm in a little bind right now. My wife hurt her ancle and is in a cast . The weather has been great for riding 45-55 degrees. My problem is she is so jelious when I go out to ride the bike without her. I kind of feel bad about riding without her but a few minutes on the vision and I totally forget about her stuck at the house. We bought the bike as a way for us to get away from the kids and have a little time for ourselves. I know in a couple more weeks I'll have to put her to sleep for a few months but I'm going to enjoy my two wheeled woman as long as I can. When I do park her, at least I won't have to hear my wife bitch about how much she hates seeing me leave the house without her. |

| Wow, I know the US is trying to fix their health care system but I didn't think things were that bad. Your wife hurt her ankle and their going to put her to sleep for a few months?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL
Be happy she misses it, it probably makes her happy to see you enjoy it so much so get out there and ride as long as you can. |

| There is nothing you can do , her ankle is hurt..but there must be a way to compensate..so she doenst feel left out..woman are tricky.....she might be complaining about your rides but mean something totaly different..have a talk with her and tell her you have limted days left to ride....and the key is dont be selfish. |

North Orange County CA | I was at the mall yesterday shopping (correction: carrying the shopping) with the wife and there was a kiosk full of art outside the Macy's.
I have to say that based on the number of copies on that they had in inventory, nothing say's "Thinking of you, during the Holidays!" more than a mass produced inkjet painting of "Dogs Playing Poker".
If you want, I could go back and see if they have anything specifically aimed at the "Get Well Soon" or the "I'm sorry for whatever I did wrong this time, Dear!" market segments.

New Bohemia, VA | drive away in the car, park it out the neighbors house out of site so she thinks you're driving the car instead. Sneak back and get the bike without her seeing you. If you can do that, rent one of those storage units and park the bike there "for the winter". Then drive the car there, get the bike... problem solved... |

Perry Hall, MD | Ran into a guy riding a bike like the one I traded on the Vision (Suzuki C50T). He talked about getting the deal of a lifetime on it. One day old - 60 miles - for 5k - new leather coat included. Then to sell the idea to his wife it cost another 5k in diamond jewelry. The way I add it up his deal cost him 2.2k more than mine did several options, taxes, and tags included.
Yea, diamonds can buy a lot of "freedom", but consider cubic zirconia first. Just remember if you get called out on it they really are diamonds, but you may have forgotten to include the term synthetic. |

Your are addicted if you:
Spend more than an hour every day on ebay looking for accessories
Spend more than an hour on the vmc.com or vision-riders.com forumns
Spend your extra money on buying accessories off ebay using paypal
Trying to hide your purchases so the wife does not find out (impossible)
Don't spend enough quality time with the wife & kids (or so she tells me)
Try to ride alone so you can open it up without scaring the shit out of her
Guess I need some psychiatric help. What's Dr. Phil's number?

Goldsboro, NC | It's a broken ankle, silly.... not a broken neck!
Lift her onto the bike if necessary, then take her for a ride! She can keep her weight off the broken ankle. Just have her grip the handrail on the opposite side a little tighter. My kids have ridden hundreds of miles on my VV and have never touched the floorboards except to mount/dismount. As long as you take it easy, you both can enjoy a cruise without her ankle bearing any more weight than if she were on crutches. |

Hmmmmm, 58,800+ in 24 1/2 months and by these standards I'm not addicted except maybe on two points...
speaking of which, I cranked up the bike the other day and Palmer was singing "Addicted to LOVE". Immediately my mine said "yes I am 'addicted to Living On Vision Excitement! (LOVE).

Richmond, Virginia | Women are funny beings, what they say and what they mean are not always the same. I suspect when she says
" im jealous that you get to go ride OUR bike while im stuck here" she really means " I will miss you but i want you to go have fun
without me until i can go with you again". I doubt she is sincerely jealous, its just a figure of speech.

Go to her next nice day and say "honey im going to go ride the bike its so nice today" but this time when she says " im so jealous you get to go and im stuck here" say "ok, im sorry i will go another time and instead stay here with you" then see what she says,,,, all the sudden that jealousy is non existent. |
