Just got my VFCIII. I cannot make any sense out of the directions. It says to remove the cover in front of the seat and disconnect the O2 sensdor line. I assume that it is the black plastic connector that runs crossways over the frame. There is nothing else that can be disconnected and it is a single line.
Then you disconnect the blue gray line to the O2 sensor that is below the seat. The wire on my bike looks black but it goes to the part that is welded onto the exhaustpipe.

How do you get at the injector wires. I can barely see the little red tab say nothing about releasing and reconnecting the wires. How do you do it.

I was able to connect the ground wire. The parts aren't labeled but that was the only single wire that didn't have a plastic connector on it. Do the VFC cables run down the left side of the engine or right.

It sure would be helpful if there were pictures. Any ideas.

Thanks
Bob

Bob, if you do some checking you will understand that the injector connectors are a little difficult to get to. Not imposible but a challenge because there is not much room to work. There are 2 O2 sensor wires to disconnect, a ground wire to attach and the inj wires. You can get an idea of how the connectors work by looking at the male and female end on the VFC III. I had long curved tip needle nose pliers and a couple of long flat tip screwdrivers. Patience is a virtue.

Thanks. Do you ever get to see the injector connection or is it all done in the blind. Do you need the needle nose to squeeze the connectors.
