Does anyone have any interest on a ride over Chinook Pass on Sat. 09/19/2009?

We would pop over the pass to Yakima (or Naches), have lunch, then turn around and head back home. It's a wonderful trip. Lot's of great roads and scenery. The trip takes about 5 hours from Enumclaw. (And yes, for those out of state, that's a real name. )

If that doesn't work, how about meeting in a central location for a cup of coffee?

It would be nice to BS for a bit and put some faces to names.

PM or reply here.

Weather permitting of course.

Sounds like fun. Let me know what time everyone wants to meet and I will be there. If the weather cooperates it will be nice to ride over the pass.

I'll definitely keep you updated. I'd love to meet you guys.

The Cam party is something I would really like to do, but finances won't allow it this year.

Keep us posted Metalguy. I hope it's just a short bug. No Swine Flu, okay?

Sat. is looking kind of nasty weather-wise. We'll see what the forecast says tomorrow or Thursday.

You should PM VisionNWRider directly or post in his CAM Party thread. It might get lost in this one.

Well it looks like the weather on Sat. is going to suck. Nice Friday, rain Saturday, nice Sunday.

Guess we will have to shoot for another time.

So...what then? I am recovering nicely from the cold....I wouldn't mind a meeting on Saturday anyway. Prolly not all the way to Yakivegas, but some place for coffee? It would be nice to put some faces with names. I have things going on Friday, and Sunday...-----Metalguy

See fellas, thats one of the reasons why we moved from the seattle area after 24+ years to E-WA. Sunny and nice riding here all week and weekend and next week LOL. NO RAIN!

I grew up in Yakima. Believe me, I know the weather there. But, my work is here. Hey, if you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride here!!------Metalguy

Dang. Sorry guys. I didn't check the boards, then headed out for a trip around 101 on Sunday. Tuesday it was 89 degrees in Forks! Can you believe that? We went up to Neah Bay and watched two whales, either Humpback or Gray - I'm not sure which, play around just a little ways off shore. It was incredible.

Let's shoot for a weekend in early Oct for a coffee meet. Anyone up for that?
